As we previously shared, the university is confident that vaccinations are essential to our community’s health and our return to in-person learning, living, and co-curricular activities in the fall. Following the recommendations of the CDC and the World Health Organization that all eligible adults and teens should be vaccinated, LMU will require that all students who enter our campuses be vaccinated against COVID-19, beginning in fall 2021.
All Westchester and Playa Vista students are required to submit their vaccination documentation by August 6, 2021 and be fully vaccinated by August 20, 2021.
For resident students, failure to register vaccination information by August 6, 2021 and be fully vaccinated by August 20, 2021, will result in the cancelation of their housing license agreement.
Students who wish to request a vaccination exemption for medical or religious reasons must complete the appropriate exemption form available through the Vax LMU system no later than June 30, 2021 for residential students or July 15, 2021 for non-residential students. Where exemptions are granted, the university requires additional COVID-19 surveillance testing and submission of the daily Lion Health Check. Other requirements may also apply.
