Outdoor Study Sessions
As L.A. County moves into California’s less-restrictive Red tier, LMU is now permitting open “study spaces” for faculty to meet in-person with up to nine students in a group. Outdoor study spaces will include sanitation stations, augmented WiFi, and physical distancing. Please note that facial coverings are required at all times while on campus. Faculty should contact Conference & Event Services at least (3) days in advance, and communicate directly with their students regarding session date and time. 

Campus Easter Holiday Break Closure
The Westchester Campus will be closed for the Easter Holiday Break, April 1-4. Only those who live on campus, are assigned to work on campus over the holidays, or have pre-approved exceptions to access campus for time-sensitive work, will continue to have access at the LMU Drive entrance during the holiday closure. For unique circumstances—work that is time sensitive that can only be completed on campus—please submit your exception request to your dean or vice president. Requests from deans or vice presidents for campus access during the holidays should be made to Public Safety via the online one-time campus access form no later than noon on Tuesday, March 30.  

• Travel locally, within a 120-mile radius from your place of residence.
• Get tested 1-3 days prior to traveling and 3-5 days after returning. Those who test positive should not travel. If positive upon return, isolate for 10 days minimum (until symptoms improve, and any fever has disappeared for at least 24 hours). Those who are symptomatic and/or receive a positive test must notify all close contacts within 48 hours of their potential exposure.
• A 10-day quarantine is required after returning from travel outside California.
