Introducing Lion Health Check

07.22.20

As of June 28, 2021, the Lion Health Check is no longer required for LMU students, faculty, staff, on-campus residents, or others with OneCard access. Only campus visitors are required to complete the Lion Health Check any time they access campus.

To access Lion Health Check, please visit lmu.edu/lionhealthcheckvisitors.

Once submitted, you will receive a response either confirming campus access (Green Check), or denying campus access (Red X, with additional information). You must receive a confirmation in order to enter campus that day.

When an individual taps their OneCard on campus, the system automatically checks the individual’s Lion Health Check for compliance; anyone on campus with a red X or without a completed Lion Health Check will be reported to their dean or vice president.

Per L.A. County Public Health orders, a Lion Health Check submission, which expires at 6 a.m. daily, is required once per day prior to entering campus. Lion Health Check questions are determined by the L.A. County Department of Public Health, but are not a diagnostic tool and should not be used in place of consultation with your healthcare provider. Your privacy is important to LMU. The information collected will not be retained or used except for campus admittance authorization. See LMU’s privacy policy here.

Please note: Completion of the Lion Health Check may also be required for off-campus activities (including athletics, filming, and research). Please check with your supervisor for further details.
