Changes to L.A. County Travel Quarantine Requirements
02.05.21
L.A. County recently updated its post-travel self-quarantine requirements. As of Feb. 3, 2021, self-quarantine is only required after returning from non-essential out-of-state travel. Previously, self-quarantine was mandated for any individual returning from outside the Southern California region.
If you travel into L.A. County from outside California for non-essential reasons, you must self-quarantine for 10 days after you arrive, and limit your interactions to people in your household. The L.A. County Department of Public Health still encourages individuals to limit non-essential travel outside 120 miles of their place of residence.
Lion Health Check will be updated today to reflect this recent change. You can also view the full update at the L.A. County Department of Public Health travel advisory page.
