Campus Access – Open to All Faculty and Staff July 12
07.08.21
Beginning on July 12, faculty and staff may visit campus without preapproval from Public Safety, in alignment with guidance from California and L.A. County Departments of Public Health. Employees who are working remotely should continue to work with their supervisor to determine when they should return to work on campus.
Environmental Health and Safety continues to work with each unit’s COVID Safety Liaison to ensure offices are aligned with Cal/OSHA and public health requirements. Details on current campus activity status may be found here. Please contact your unit’s COVID Safety Liaison with additional questions.
Business hours remain Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. If you require extended hours access, please consult with your dean or vice president.
Reminder: Face Mask Guidelines
As shared on June 17, for those who are registered as fully vaccinated in Vax LMU, masks are no longer required on campus, indoors or outdoors. This updated protocol remains in alignment with the L.A. County Department of Public Health and Cal/OSHA guidance.
Please note that L.A. Public Health recommends that all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear masks indoors when visiting public places, especially with increased Delta-variant cases. LACDPH also affirms that fully vaccinated persons appear well protected from infections with Delta variants, and the small number of infections in those who are fully vaccinated have been mild.
Those who have not submitted their vaccination record to Vax LMU must get tested twice per week at the on-campus COVID Testing Center, and must continue to wear masks indoors (except when alone in one’s private office with the door closed, or while eating or drinking), or outdoors when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
