About the 2025 Innovation Symposium

Since its inception in 2022 within the College of Business Administration (CBA) and the Office of External Relations, the LMU Innovation Symposium, led by the Information Systems and Business Analytics (ISBA) department, has become a premier interdisciplinary event. The symposium showcases cutting-edge topics and innovations in technology across various industries, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among academia, industry leaders, and innovators.

Partnerships have included the LMU School of Education, the LMU School of Film and Television, and the LMU Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering, highlighting the event's broad appeal and commitment to interdisciplinary engagement. Each year, the symposium brings together thought leaders to discuss the latest trends, challenges, and opportunities in technology, making it a must-attend event for those passionate about driving innovation and shaping the future.

Getting Here

LMU Playa Vista Campus map

The Playa Vista Campus is located at The Brickyard complex in the Playa Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. A free shuttle service from the LMU Westchester campus is open to the public, and is a convenient option for people commuting between campuses. You can board the shuttle at the University Hall flagpoles, or at Lawton Plaza, just opposite the library. The campus is located on the second floor, and is accessible via Elevator Lobby 1 on the east side of the building, opposite Playa Vista Central Park and above Sweat Yoga.  The pedestrian entrance is just west of the corner of S. Lake Center Drive and W. Waterfront Drive.

Free parking will be available at the venue for symposium attendees. Please keep your ticket and bring it with you to the registration table. Public entrances to the parking structure are located on W. Waterfront Drive and S. Lake Center Drive. Free street parking is available around the complex, but may be limited at peak times.
