About the Symposium
Following the success of the 2022 LMU Innovation Symposium, the second annual LMU Innovation Symposium: Disruptive Technologies and Education brings together industry and academic experts from multiple disciplines to discuss how innovations in technology, education, and ethical decision making have an impact on people, planet and profit. Presented by LMU College of Business Administration, LMU School of Education, LMU School of Education's iDEAL Institute, and LMU MarComm External Relations. About the 2023 Innovation Symposium
The second annual LMU Innovation Symposium offers a unique opportunity to explore the latest advances in technology and their impact on the education industry. The world is changing rapidly, and with it, the way we teach and learn is also evolving. The conference provides a platform for experts to discuss and showcase the most innovative and disruptive technologies that are reshaping the education landscape. From artificial intelligence to virtual and augmented reality, there are countless exciting new tools that educators can use to enhance the learning experience for students. Getting Here
The Playa Vista Campus is located at The Brickyard complex in the Playa Vista neighborhood of Los Angeles. A free shuttle service from the LMU Westchester campus is open to the public, and is a convenient option for people commuting between campuses. You can board the shuttle at the University Hall flagpoles, or at Lawton Plaza, just opposite the library. The campus is located on the second floor, and is accessible via Elevator Lobby 1 on the east side of the building, opposite Playa Vista Central Park and above Sweat Yoga. The pedestrian entrance is just west of the corner of S. Lake Center Drive and W. Waterfront Drive.
Free parking will be available at the venue for symposium attendees. Please keep your ticket and bring it with you to the registration table. Public entrances to the parking structure are located on W. Waterfront Drive and S. Lake Center Drive. Free street parking is available around the complex, but may be limited at peak times.
