Dear LMU Community:

I am saddened to share that Jeffrey Hunt '26, a Master of Business Administration student in the LMU College of Business Administration, passed away unexpectedly due to prior health issues on Nov. 7, 2024, at his residence in Westchester, California. He was 37 years old.

During his time at LMU, Jeff often expressed how much he loved being a student at the university and eagerly immersed himself in campus life. From athletics clubs to special interest clubs, he was actively involved in many student organizations, including the Finance Society.

Before attending LMU, Jeff worked in New York as a senior financial planning and reporting analyst at Stoli Group and a manager at Volo City. Prior to these roles, he was a management analyst and a financial analyst at the Social Security Administration. Jeff earned his B.A. in finance at Loyola University Maryland.

The university will remember Jeff with a plaque bearing his name on our student memorial, Ad Astra per Aspera.
