  1. Students: Visit lmu.edu/lionconnect
  2. Web of Support Staff: Visit lmu.edu/ssh
  3. Log in using your LMU credentials.

Note: LionConnect is only accessible by LMU students. Student Success Hub is only accessible by Web of Support staff who have been assigned a login from ITS.

Glossary of Terms

  • An opportunity for a student to schedule an appointment with an individual or office that are part of Web of Support, but not part of a student’s assigned Success Team.

  • The ability for students to seamlessly schedule an appointment with a Web of Support staff member based on their availability and the listed availability of the Web of Support staff.

  • A message on the student’s LionConnect portal from a Web of Support department.

  • Experience and Engagement Products (EEP) is the Information Technology Services (ITS) team working to build and enhance the LionConnect system.

  • A new feature or user of LionConnect will be identified as an enhancement and then added into the production schedule that is completed by EEP.

  • The name of the student success portal that students utilize.

  • An electronic message that can be shared and viewed by the student and the Web of Support staff across campus. Notes are shared with the student and accessible to them through their student portal.

  • Notifications will come via a number badge on the bell icon at the upper right-hand corner. These will signal users to new activity.

  • Single Sign-On. This is how all students and Web of Support staff will access the portals.

  • The student success portal that the Web of Support staff utilize.

  • An action plan to help a student achieve a goal or milestone. 

  • The individual tasks (steps) for students to complete to fulfill the assigned success plan.

  • The Web of Support staff assigned to each student. Students can be assigned to multiple Web of Support staff across multiple categories such as college, athletics, honors, international students, etc.

  • Individual prompts to notify students of changes to their academic record, such as Holds, Mid-Term Deficiencies, Missed Registrations, etc. It can also be an individual “To Do” created by a Web of Support staff for an individual student.

  • The name of the group of individuals who serve as the support staff in the system to assist students. Sometimes referred to as the WOS. Additional LMU employees will continue to be added over time.
