SEIU Election Results

June 21, 2024

Dear Faculty Colleagues, 

On June 11, the ballots were counted in the election conducted by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) to determine if the Service Employees International Union, Local 721 (SEIU) would represent the non-tenure track (NTT) faculty for the LMU Bellarmine College of Liberal Arts, the LMU College of Communication and Fine Arts, and the LMU School of Film and Television. The outcome was a “yes” vote in favor of the union. On June 20, the NLRB certified the election results.

We honor the will of our NTT faculty and the perspectives they expressed throughout the election campaign. We will continue to engage the union in good faith and with transparency.
